Tim: I love this movie.!
Tim: I'm Tim Heidecker and you're watching On Cinema At The Cinema.
Tim: Quiet on set!
Tim: Hi everybody. Welcome to a new episode and a new season of On Cinema At The Cinema. My name is Tim Heidecker. I'm the host of the show. It's my program where we talk about and review movies and also have other segments based on around movies. And my host is- or, I'm sorry my guest is... Freudian slip of the tongue... Gregg Turkington.
Gregg: Hey guys and that was funny to refer to me as the host. That's something that I aspire to.
Tim: Well it was an accident. It's great to be back on the show. It's great to see you again. It's been a few weeks and... it's been about a week.
Gregg: It's like 12 days. You'll never guess how many movies I've watched during those 12 days.
Tim: We'll get to that later. I want to thank everybody for their asking. A lot of people have been asking about my health and I'm pleased to say that I'm feeling great. Feeling, you know, the doctors have cleared me of all the clots. They said there's not a chance of them coming back and I've had this sort of tingling numbness in my hands and my feet especially my right foot has just been like... Ever get that? Where you kind of need to shake out the leg restlessly.
Gregg: You should get checked for tested for diabetes. It sounds like some of the early symptoms.
Tim: Don't think it's diabetes. That's for old people. But anyhow, aside from that I'm sure it's something probably something in my diet. Let's go into these movies real quick because I do have an appointment I got to run to. Lone Survivor starring or directed by Peter Berg with the cast of one of my favorites, Mark Wahlberg speaking of Bergs. Ben Foster and Eric Banana- Bana... Bana.
Gregg: Bana. There's no Eric Banana.
Tim: Was he Batman?... played Batman...? Or, Spu-..
Gregg: He's been in a lot of things.
Tim: Hulk. From The Hulk
Gregg: Incredible Hulk was one of his many movies.
Tim: Alright so now this movie based on the failed mission Operation Red Wings. When four members of SEAL Team 10 were tasked to capture a kill a Taliban leader, Marcus Lutrell was the only member of his team to survive- This gives the fucking ending away! Sorry about that. We got to kind of kill the spoilers from these cards.
Tim: This was a terrific movie, another great Mark Wahlberg movie. It reminded me a little bit of-
Gregg: Lawrence of Arabia did you see that?
Tim: It's a great action movie. It answers a lot of questions that I think we were all wondering about. Lone Survivor, well guess what: there's one survivor and it's not bin Laden. I give it five bags of popcorn and two cups of soda. Definitely don't miss this movie this summer. This, uh, toda- This week.
Gregg: Yeah I really liked it too it's sort of an unofficial sequel to Zero Dark Thirty in that you kind of have the Navy seals and these bad guys and they come in and save the day. I would have liked to have seen bin Laden as a character in this. I thought he was very interesting as a movie villain in Zero Dark Thirty but he wasn't in it and it was still a good movie. I'm gonna give it five bags of popcorn and one turban.
Tim: God bless the troops. Some of these movies tend to mis- besmirch troops.
Gregg: Well the Navy seals is kind of different than your standard troops. They're specialists at what they do, much as I'm sort of a specialist at bringing expertise to this show, and I'm happy to be here.
Tim: Alright the next film coming out this week is called Her. Not Ben Hur, Her. Just Her. Directed by Spike Jonze and starring Jackwin Phillix... Phoenix, Amy Adams and Scarlet Johannason and this is a lonely writer develops an unlikely friendship- relationship with his newly purchased operating system that's designed to meet his every need. So it's like a, kinda like a Max Headroom kind of movie.
Gregg: Yeah.
Tim: That's TV...
Gregg: Computers.
Tim: About computers. Yes it's like a computer movie.
Gregg: So much of what people do nowadays is on computers.
Tim: Yeah interesting. Yes. Well this movie was directed by Spike... Somebody named Spike Jonze.
Gregg: If you ever saw the Al Pacino classic Simone which was short for simulated one, it's kind of an unofficial remake of that. And there's a new classic on the block and it's Her. I'm gonna give it five bags of popcorn and maybe a little red ribbon for her hair. "Her" hair. To sort of humanize her because one thing, if you've ever seen Star Trek you know that robots and computers like to be taken seriously as people.
Tim: Well I loved Her. I'm not talking about my ex-wife, or Ayaka... who I did love. But I'm talking about the movie, Her by Joaquin Phoenix. I give it five bags of popcorn and one soda. Alright well Gregg this is a great opportunity for us to check in with you about your big 500 Movies in 500 Days.
Gregg: Yes yes.
Tim: You wanna give us an update on that? I know you put a segment together. Let's take a look at that segment-
Gregg: I put a little segment together and people are really excited-
Tim: Let's take a look.
Greg: Oh.

Gregg: 500 Movies in 500 Days... Heh. It's never been done. That's about to change. Here's a behind-the-scenes look of a world record in the making. Only the best movies must be selected to be a part of this record. When I'm not busy actually watching the movies I scour the world to find them. Sometimes a great movie can be found in an unlikely place. I can't wait to carve out my place in history. Will you support me?
Tim: Alright well very interesting.
Gregg: Yeah it's nice people want behind-the-scenes information on how I'm doing this, how I'm actually breaking this record and what goes into it. There's a lot of people involved. We had a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise money and a lot of you out there contributed to that. We appreciate it. People are wondering are you going to be able to do this? How are you doing? Are you holding up? And I've made it a priority. We're now actually four movies ahead of pace to make this record so it's... it's gonna happen.
Tim: Alright well thank you very much and go check out Lone Survivor and Her all in the movie theaters this weekend and thanks for watching.
Gregg: Thanks and keep supporting what I'm doing.
Tim: Thanks for watching.

Tim: You have to remind me in the next time you're going to hijack the show like that. Because I will put a stop to it. It's distracting. It should be about the movies.
Gregg: It sure shouldn't be about your feet.
